Pictured above is Harry the Huggable Bear, commissioned by Esprit de Vie as part of this year’s SWELL Sculpture Festival by artist Dion Parker. Harry will become part of the sculptural exhibition at Esprit de Vie.
Harry the Huggable Bear is a larger than life memory of our childhood and companions on life’s journey. A reminder of simple times when imagination could take you anywhere. Always young at heart.
Dion Parker is a multidisciplinary, award winning artist from the Gold Coast Queensland.
His works are often focused around smooth flowing forms and lines. He also enjoys adding a touch of humor throughout a lot of his work.
His character “Lil Dusty” features in a lot of his works in a large variety of mediums, including, but not limited to sculpture.
Dion’s works have been exhibited at festivals and exhibitions around Australia and reside in public and private collections across Australia and also abroad.
